Working in the industry since 2002, today I am a well recognized audio engineer in the touring business in Germany and beyond. Based in Hamburg, Germany, I started my career as an apprentice in 2001, becoming a trainee in 2002 at a local supplier of audio and lighting systems in my former hometown Kiel in northern Germany.
Opening my own business as a freelancer in 2005, I became specialized in touring with artists such as Sarah Brightman, Pet Shop Boys, Trailerpark, Gregorian, Shindy or Disarstar in Europe and worldwide. Until today I also had the honor to jump in for befriended colleagues to mix shows for Alligatoah, Revolverheld, Raf&Bonez or In Flames.

Hear what you need to hear

Performing on a stage can be challenging. A balanced individual monitor mix is crucial for anyone who wants to give the audience the best show every night.

20 + years of experience in mixing live shows is nothing you can buy in a shop. I started my touring career with small punk rock bands in clubs, touring in splitter-vans, to let my skills grow with every tour I joined. Today, most of my clients play large scale theaters or arenas.
I mixed shows at major festivals as the "local monitor guy" as well as the touring engineer for the headlining act.

Welcome to stage left!

What you see below is my working space on the 2022 Sarah Brightman Asia-Tour in Taipei.
When it comes to speccing the equipment for productions I always rely on state-of-the-art gear, in consoles as in IEMs, Mics and speakers. In a live show, you only have one chance to impress the audience and I help to reach that goal with my skills and the equipment that I choose.

This is me:

Hi, nice to meet you. I also look quite handsome in roadie-black.

Frequency Management:

Working with wireless devices requires frequency management - the more frequencies required, the more important the calculation. Being a certified Shure Axient Technician and having prepared and used large wireless setups on most of the five continents makes me a trustful partner for your show.

Is it always stage left?

Well, we know the answer. Yes. Here proven at Rock im Park 2022 during a show of german Rapper Alligatoah.
